In your opinion, what is a more important factor when planning your vacation - weather or crowd level? My 3 sisters and our families are trying to schedule a vacation and can't decide between late Jan (low crowds) or late Mar (warmer weather).

I would prioritize visiting when crowds were low, Rebekah.  I've been to Walt Disney World in January and I can tell you that the weather was actually quite pleasant.  Of course, the weather during your January visit is up to the whim of Mother Nature, but I wouldn't be too worried about dipping temperatures if I was doing the planning.  On the contrary, higher crowd levels can really put a damper on a vacation.  We visited during Christmas week one time and found that we couldn't get near the mileage out of that trip as we can our visits during the far less crowded September time frame.  And since you don't seem to be limited by school calendars, I would definitely take advantage of that flexibility and opt for a January trip.  Just dress in layers and you should do well.  Enjoy!
