Hello, Iro! Thanks for stopping by to see us again at the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

I'm a Florida resident, and at certain times of the year, rain is just a part of everyday life. But don't worry, Iro, your plans won't be a total washout if it rains during your vacation. The Theme Parks at Walt Disney World will be open on rainy days. In fact, as long as you come prepared with rain gear, the parks can be fun in the rain. The crowds tend to be a little lighter on a rainy day, temperatures are cooler, and the glistening grounds are quite pretty.

Do keep in mind that some outdoor attractions and shows may be closed or canceled during severe weather. If any of your FastPass+ selections are affected by closures, you should receive an email letting you know and offering you some substitutions. If that happens and you have any questions, just ask the nearest Cast Member. They'll be happy to help.

Keeping my fingers crossed that it doesn't rain too much on your parade, Iro. Have a wonderful day, and a magical Walt Disney World vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Kathy, Florida

I've lived my whole life just an hour's drive from Walt Disney World, so I've been a regular visitor for as long as I can remember. Even after all these years and so many visits, I love that there's still so much to discover! Now that I'm a mom myself, seeing my favorite place through my son's eyes has given me a whole new perspective that I enjoy sharing with other parents of young children. Learn More About Kathy
