If we do online check-in, do we need to stop at the resort for a parking pass or how will they know at the transportation center that we are resort guests?

Hi Michelle and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I’m excited to see you will be visiting the Walt Disney World Resort this summer!

I have fresh experience with this! My family and I just stayed at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort- Riverside and I used the My Disney Experience app on my phone to check us in to the resort. I never stepped foot into the lobby and didn’t need to!

When you arrive at the entrance of the theme park of your choice, tell the Cast Member where you are staying, and they will scan your MagicBand to confirm, that’s it! There’s no need for that piece of paper on your dashboard anymore because all the information about your Disney Resort hotel is stored right in your MagicBand.

Michelle, a few hours before your check-in at your Disney Resort hotel, you will receive a text message or email with your room number. The MagicBands you had shipped to your home for your visit (or any other MagicBands you have linked to your My Disney Experience account) will open your resort room door.

As you’re planning out your days, you will want to consider visiting Disney's Hollywood Studios because Andy’s toys have taken over a new land, Toy Story Land, and it’s opening is June 30th!

Since you will be staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel, you will be able to make your FastPass+ selections 60 days before your visit. You may want to add some new attractions like Slinky Dog Dash or the Alien Swirling Saucers to your list of must-dos. I bet these new experiences will be out of this world!

I hope you and your family have a wonderful visit! Come back to see us soon!
