Can one year olds be carried on the buses or do they have to have seats The same question for the 3 1/2 year old

    Hi, Diane!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

When traveling by Disney's complimentary transportation, the Magical Express or resort shuttle buses, car seats are not allowed on the buses, as there are no seat belts to secure the car seats.

When we travel with our small children, we are very careful to sit where we can secure our Princess and Pirate either in our lap or the seat next to us, nearest the window. We also choose not to sit on the first row of the bus, as the railings are low.

So carrying your children onto the buses is OK, as long you secure them in a lap or the seat next to you.

If you would feel safer using a car seat for your toddlers, you may desire to rent a car and bring your won car seats or paying an additional cost through the car rental company.

    Have a magical Disney vacation!

    Happy planning!
