does a one year old need a ticket?

    Hi there, Elizabeth!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! We're glad you stopped by with your question.

You'll be pleased to know children under the age of 3 are not charged theme park admission as they are considered Guests of Mickey Mouse. Since your 1-year-old will not need a theme park ticket, you'll be unable to book FastPass+ selections for him/her. Simply let the Cast Member know at the entrance of the attraction that your little one is under the age of 3. During your FastPass+ window, your 1-year-old will be able to enter the FastPass+ entrance with you as long as he/she meets the minimum height requirement for that specific attraction. I believe you will be pleasantly surprised by just how many attractions and entertainment options your little one will be able to experience at the Walt Disney World Resort.

During your visit, be sure to utilize the Baby Care Centers, which are conveniently located in all four theme parks. Baby Care Centers feature a kitchen, private nursing room, a changing room with tables, feeding area with highchairs and a shop with necessities for little ones. You'll also find the Baby Care Centers to be a great place to take a break from the park.

I hope this information has been helpful to you, Elizabeth. Let us know if you have any new questions. We would love to assist you further in planning a magical trip for your family!
