One thing I hope to do while at WDW is tour the resorts. Is there any additional fee to do this? What about a fee to take advantage of some of the perks and features of them, ie--the singalong at Ft. Wilderness or the beach at Coronado Springs?

    Hey Glenn,

I am so happy to hear from someone else who shares my passion for not only visiting the Parks but also the Resorts.  There are no extra charges for these experiences, except for at Fort Wilderness Campground, (the campfire and marshmallow roast singalong with Chip and Dale) you will have to purchase your items such as marshmallows, roasting sticks, or a kit for making schmore's.  I like to either bring my own items in a bag or trot over to the Trading Post (located across the bridge right by the campfire site) where you can also pick up hot dogs and buns for more of a "real meal".

Last  time I was in Walt Disney World, they were offering a similar experience at the Beach Club Resort (location: right by Stormalong Bay, on the beach).  Here they actually do not charge for anything.  They have a couple of "camp leader's" who guide all involved into lively songs and activities (this is a real hoot!)  You then get your roasting sticks and marshmallows...Roast away!!!!  When all that fun is finished, it is time to retreat over to the comfy beach loungers and watch the one featured movie of the evening.  You will be amazed when you also get to view the fireworks from Epcot and some from Disney's Hollywood Studios as well.  This makes for an extremely magical evening.

Enjoy what else Disney has to offer!
