If one has a room at one of the Disney Resorts can they purchase the Dining option or do they have to purchase the park tickets as well? We already have park tickets from a previous purchase.

    Hi, Sharon!

The Disney Dining Plan can only be added as part of package that must include theme park tickets. Since you already have your tickets, you will need to stick with a "room only" reservation.  You can still enjoy all the amazing dining, you just have to pay as you go. Remember that you can begin booking your Dining Reservations as soon as you hit your 180 day booking window.

Make sure you link your park tickets to your My Disney Experience account so you can book your FastPass+ reservations up to 60 days prior to your arrival. These tickets will then be linked to your MagicBands which is super convenient!

Sorry you cannot add on the dining plan, but all the same great food is still waiting for you...and don't forget to enjoy a Mickey Ice Cream bar (or two!)
