One more question, my kids ages 6 and 3 love Dinosaurs. Animal Kingdom has a Dinosaur ride that looks like a lot of fun. In your opinion or experience, is it scary for young kids? My trip to WDW is on May 18-May 23. Yippie!!!!! PS Love your Panel

First things first ... That particular ride has a height restriction of 40". It's quite possible that one or both of your children will not be tall enough to experience this attraction.

And now onto the second thing ... I do admit to a relatively high wimpiness factor when it comes to scary attractions. In my opinion and experience, that ride is SCARY. Disney Mom Laura and I had an opportunity ride Dinosaur together in February. It had been several years since I had been on this ride and had somewhat forgotten the fear factor. We were both full of bravado before we went on, "Hey, Dinosaur is no big deal for us. We're the Disney Moms!" At the end of the ride I think we were both pretty shaken up, both figuratively (T-Rex is BIG and MEAN) and literally (it is one BUMPY ride). My hubby took one of my girls on this ride when she was five years old. She didn't freak out or anything, but I don't think she liked it.

My suggestion would be for you to find some way to experience the ride first. Only you can be the judge of what's tolerable or enjoyable for your own children. Again, I'm a wimp, but I think this is one of the top three Disney experiences from a scariness point of view.
