Can one parent can wait in line for a meet & greet while other parent entertains 3 yr old in the park? I don't think my 3 year old will be able to wait in line for 2 hours. If not, can 2 of us leave line to use restroom?

    Hello, Christina!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!  We are thrilled to answer your question about your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation!

I wanted to let you know that your three year old will need to wait in line with you for all Disney Character Meet and Greets.  However, I promise you are not the first parent to deal with a child having to use the restroom while waiting in line.  In fact, I have five kids, so I totally understand your question!

There have been many times where one of my kids had to use the restroom when we were in the middle of a long line for a Disney attraction or Disney Character Meet and Greet.  The first thing I do is let the guests know who are in front and in back of my family in line of the bathroom "emergency."  EVERY time I have explained the situation, there has never been an issue of going to the restroom and then getting back in line.  I also let a Cast Member know of the emergency. That way the Cast Member will know we are not just breaking in line.

Bottom line...the big thing to remember is communication!  If you let others know of the situation, no one is going to have an issue!

If you have other questions, please let us know!

    Have a MAGICAL day!

    Wes
