We only have one day to spend at Magic Kingdom with my daughter who will be there as a gift for her 4th birthday. Any tips on how to make the most of the day? Thanks! (p.s. she loves princesses)

Hi Kathryn, thanks for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. How exciting for your little princess! Make sure to pick up a complimentary Birthday button at Guest Services so your daughter can enjoy the special attention she gets throughout the day. Here are a few ideas:

You can start off the day by surprising her with an autograph book and fun princess pen, and tell her that she will get to meet her favorite princesses later that day. If you are 'Brave', you could also get a Magic Kingdom park map and let her pick the attractions and entertainment options. After all, it is her special day! Plan FastPass+ selections for Princess Fairytale Hall, or Ariel's Grotto. Other princesses like Merida and Tiana do not offer FastPass+ so be sure to pick up a Times Guide to see when they are meeting. I also suggest taking her to see Enchanted Tales with Belle. She will get to spend time with Belle and might even be picked to play a part in the story.

*Since your daughter is a princess fan, I would definitely incorporate a Character Dining Experience some time during your day. In the Magic Kingdom Area, Cinderella's Royal Table would be perfect, or 1900 Park Fare which is just right next door at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. She will love getting one on one time with her favorite characters while eating a delicious meal.

*A birthday princess must have a gown and tiara! Make a reservation for Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique for a complete princess makeover by a Fairy Godmother-in-training. She will get the royal treatment on her special day.

*How about a sweet treat for a sweet 4-year-old girl? To top off the night, make reservations for Tomorrowland Terrace Fireworks Dessert Party. There will be delectable desserts, fireworks, and Tinkerbell will fly right over the patio!

There are so many ways to make a birthday princess feel special on her day. If you need any more ideas, please feel free to stop by!
