    Theresa from PA Asked

One adult in our party has mobility issues and will be renting a scooter to aid in getting around the parks. How does that work with buses and when going on rides? Thanks! We are excited to be there soon...end of March.

Hi, Theresa!  Each bus is outfitted with a "parking spot" for a scooter and a ramp to get into the bus.  The scooter will lock into place once it is on the bus.  The scooters can also access the monorails and most of the boats, so transportation around the parks should be relatively stress free.

As far as the attractions go, there are some where you can bring your Electronic Convenience Vehicle right on with you, others where you may have to transfer, and some that cannot accommodate the scooters.  You'll find some excellent information regarding which attractions are which by visiting Disney World with Mobility Issues.

Your vacation is coming up soon!  I hope it's sprinkled with pixie dust and you make tons of magical memories!
