Once a dining reservation is made, can you modify it online or call to add another person?

    Hi Breanna,

Thanks for your excellent question! Just today I adjusted a dining reservation when I found out that a friend and her family would be able to join us for a dinner in May. You can make adjustments online, based on availability, using My Disney Experience.

In the desktop version, sign in and go to the My Reservations & Tickets section. Under the confirmation number for each dining reservation you will see a link to "Change Reservation." That will give you the option to change the date, time and/or number of guests.

I think the My Disney Experience Mobile App is a little simpler to use. Simply tap "Dining", then tap the reservation you want to change. You will see a pencil icon labeled "Modify". Again, you can change the date, time and/or number of guests, based on availability.

It's always easier to reduce the number of diners than to increase the number, especially at some of the high-demand venues. So if you aren't sure how many guests will be joining you, I'd make the reservation for the maximum number you expect. Then you can reduce the reservation number later when you have an exact count.

Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question, Breanna. Please let us know if we can help with anything else as you make your plans. Enjoy!
