Hello, my older sis & I are spending time with our DAV brother in Orlando next month. My sister & I will be spending 2 days in Disney. My sister and I are breast cancer survivors. We want to make the best of this once in a lifetime trip. Ideas ?

Hi there, Stephanie! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by and allowing us to help you plan your Walt Disney World Resort vacation!

I'm a firm believer that celebrating at Walt Disney World Resort is the best way to make any occasion extra special! This includes celebrating life and victory over breast cancer! I have a few ideas that will hopefully help make this trip the visit of a lifetime!

My number one tip would be to stay at a Disney Resort hotel during your visit! Guests staying at a Disney Resort hotel receive many perks including additional time in the parks through Extra Magic Hours, complimentary standard parking at all four theme parks, early FastPass+ reservations, and much more. My absolute favorite part of staying at a Disney Resort hotel, though, is the amazing, immersive themes unique to each resort! My two personal favorites are the South Pacific feeling found at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort and the rustic elegance of Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside.

If you're looking to add a pinch more of "pixie dust" to your trip, I would suggest looking into the Enchanting Extras Collection! This collection includes many different tours, special events, and VIP experiences that you and your sister are sure to remember for a lifetime! If you and your sister are foodies, I would highly recommend the Highway in the Sky Dine Around experience that takes Guests on a culinary tour of the Disney Resort hotels surrounding the Magic Kingdom.

I hope this has given you a few ideas for your upcoming vacation to Walt Disney World Resort!
