hi can my older kids still eat from the kids menu at full service restaurants and buffets thanks

    Hi Katie,

Your vacation is just a few days away. You'll be arriving during the most magical time of the year, ready to celebrate the Holidays at Walt Disney World Resort. Let's wrap up all planning and start packing your bags!

My family loves to explore all the different dining options throughout the Resort. So many choices for every budget and taste. From international cuisine to family buffets, everyone can feel right at home or be ready to explore some new delicacies. But kids are kids, and even though those older than ten years of age will order from the adult menu, you can always request a bigger portion meal from the children menu. We've done it in the past when my kids were not ready to grow up to adult meals. Make sure you ask your waiter for different options or substitutions when you order.

A buffet style restaurant is a great choice for picky eaters. In Chef Mickey's you can join Mickey and his friends while having a nice meal. Another option with a traditional fare you may like is Liberty Tree Tavern, with meals served family style. Be sure to explore the menus ahead of time, via the Walt Disney World Restaurants and Reservations page.

One last tip: if there's a particular reservation you were not able to get, keep checking, especially at the last minute. Many Guests change their plans and openings may pop up. The My Disney Experience mobile app is the easiest way to grab that special reservation. Happy Holidays!
