Old Tickets-MagicBands & FastPass+ We have very old tickets that are still valid (non-expiring Park Hopper+). Are we going to have trouble making FasPass+ reservations? Can we convert the tickets into MagicBands when we arrive at our WDW Resort?

Hi, Kenneth!  You should be able to link your old ticket to your My Disney Experience account, and you can learn all about what all of this new fangled stuff looks like by visiting MyMagic+.  This will walk you through everything from setting up a My Disney Experience account and using MagicBands to making your FastPass+ reservations.

When you're in My Disney Experience, there will be an option to add tickets.  It will explain several different ways to find the identifying information from your ticket, so even if you have an older one, there will be a number or code on the back of it that will work with this new system.

If you have any trouble linking your passes, you can call Walt Disney World for assistance at (407) 939-5277.  They've been very helpful to me in the past in linking tickets and sorting out my reservations.

Once your passes are linked, if you are staying at a Walt Disney World resort hotel, you'll be able to book FastPass+ options 60 days in advance of your stay.  You will also be able to customize MagicBands and they will be shipped to you before you arrive.  If you are not staying at a Walt Disney World resort, you can still book 30 days before you arrive, and you can purchase MagicBands when you get to Walt Disney World.

Have a great time on your upcoming vacation!
