Okay so I have seen on pictures where there are people on the roof of BLT watching the fireworks. Can you really do this? Never stayed at BLT before. Thanks!!

    Hi Madison,

Yes! Absolutely! In fact, this experience is a top priority, "Must-do" for our family. We normally visit on the very first night of each of our Walt Disney World Resort vacations.

That Pixie Dusted location is called Top of the World Lounge. This is one of the most exclusive areas in all of Walt Disney World Resort, as access is restricted exclusively to Disney Vacation Club Members and their Guests listed on their reservation. Additionally, the Disney Vacation Club Member must be staying at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel either paying cash or in points. That said, I have yet to discover a more magical viewing location for Wishes Nighttime Spectacular, or even a gorgeous Central Florida sunset.

In order to reach the Top of the World Lounge, Disney Vacation Club Members must check-in with the cast member at the Concierge podium in the lobby of Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort. He or she will ask for membership identification, and then will escort you to an exclusive elevator to the 16th floor to enjoy the scenery as well as tasty dishes and cocktails.

If you are not yet a Disney Vacation Club Member, another way to drink-in this magnificent vista would be from the observation deck at Disney's California Grill located at Disney's Contemporary Resort. This popular gourmet dining location offers a variety of deliciously fresh flavors from sushi to steak. You won't be disappointed with a visit here!

I hope that helps you as you plan your incredible vacation.  Please stop by with any other questions, Madison.

    Wishing you many magical memories,

    Sally
