Hi Sarah!
In all the times I have been on Splash Mountain, I have NEVER gotten wet. Can you believe that? Sure, I’ve had some mist in my face, but I have never gotten soaked. (Knocking on wood right now) You are allowed to wear a bathing suit top, however, shoes and shorts/pants or manpris (if you are fellow panelist, Joel K.) are required in the parks at all times…unless of course you are at a water park.
The only other ride that has the possibility of getting very wet on is Kali River Rapids in Animal Kingdom. I don’t think I have ever seen a dry guest exit that ride. Ponchos are a pretty good tool for staying dry on a water ride. They are sold in pretty much every gift shop.
Have a magical day!
Leslie
