Ok! So we're thinking of getting the water park option on our next trip in March. My girls are 6&4. Will they be very limited in rides they can go on? And, I read something about kids 5+ swimming with sharks, can I get more info on that? Sounds like fu

    Hi Lisa!

You will LOVE experiencing the Disney Water Parks with your family!

Both Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach have amazing areas just for the little ones! There are splash areas, kid sized water slides and even family raft rides in the parks.

The attraction you are referring to is called Shark Reef and it's located at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon. Here, your whole family can snorkel in a safe environment while swimming freely with harmless species of sharks, rays and schools of colourful, tropical fish! All of the equipment you need to enjoy this adventure is provided to you at no additional cost. Children under the age of 10 must be accompanied in the water by an adult and lifejackets are available.

To read all about the amazing attractions at Disney's Water Parks that are suitable for your little ones, check out Blizzard Beach's Ski Patrol Training Camp and Tike's Peak or over at Typhoon Lagoon, Ketchakiddee Creek!

Thanks for visiting the Moms Panel with your great question Lisa!

Wishing you a simply Magical vacation to Walt Disney World!
