Ok, you all sound like experts! My family has finally decided to make our first trip to WDW, probably in Aug. of this year. We have a son, 16 and daughter, 9. Our son is taking a friend. I would like to know how much is there for the teenagers to enjoy?

    Hi Lori,

First of all thank you for the compliment!  I can give you a "teens" perspective from my experiences as a teenager vacationing in Walt Disney World (as I do not have a teenager yet).  Let me tell you that this is the best place to have a bit of freedom to roam in your teenage years!  I loved using the different transportation modes here as well as all the great attractions.  One of my favorites was a water park they used to have many years ago called "River Country" which was located inside Fort Wilderness Campground.  Unfortunately this no longer exists but they do offer 2 other very grande Water Parks...Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach.  I would definitely recommend that your teenagers enjoy these if they like to swim, there is so much fun located at these parks it really is endless and a teenagers dream come true!

I will provide you with a link for "teenager tips", as well as a link to "fun things for teenagers to do" at Walt Disney World.  This is a magical place for people of all ages and there is something to be experienced around each and every corner at this wonderful vacation destination.  I am sure everyone will have a super trip and make many memories as well!

    Have a magical stay!
