ok so i am planning my son's first trip to disneyworld, but my fear is that i am a bigger mom and i will not be able to ride with him on some rides, is there a weight restrictions on rides or does anyone know if they are big people friendly.

Hey, Ashlee!  As a mom who until recently was quite "Pooh Sized", I have to tell you honestly that I thought Walt Disney World theme parks were some of the best in terms of being size friendly.  For most of my adult life, I weighed over 300 pounds, and my husband still tips the scales at about 340 pounds, and neither of us have ever been unable to ride on something at Walt Disney World.

Many of the rides have bars that you pull back on until you are comfortable, so you don't have to worry about it not closing properly - it will lock where you need it to.  I carried much of my weight in my stomach, and never had any difficulty with safety bars, seat belts, or other safety closures.

You'll see people of every shape and size at Walt Disney World, and you don't have to worry a minute about not having a good time because you're a bit fluffier than some people.  I've always found Walt Disney World very size friendly.

    Have a great time, Ashlee!
