Hi Mom's! Ok - Pin trading! Living thru my 6 yr old dd, we did our first pin trade at wdw in March. We loved it! Only problem is, I found that the pins would actually come loose & fall off as my dd walked around the parks. Any secrets to fasten the pin

I've had that same trouble, Lisa; we've lost many a pin that way!  Unfortunately, I don't have any sure fire methods to offer as a suggestion.  I will say, though, that Disney does sell locking backs.  They look like tiny barrels and require a "key" to lock and unlock them.  I have purchased these with high hopes that locking our most treasured pins would keep them safe, but those locking pin backs seem to fall off as often as the Mickey head plastic pin backs.  The only thing we've come up with is to carry just a few trading pins around on the lanyards and regularly (like every twenty minutes or so) check to ensure that the plastic pin backs are tightly secured.  We now store our "keeper" pins in display books that are available for purchase at many merchandise locations throughout the resort.  Good luck, Lisa!
