Hi! How often are fast passes generated? Ex: Can I TRY to plan my day by being at one attraction at 9:45 and another by 10:30 etc.?

    Hi Elizabeth!

I just love FastPass+ reservations. The amount of time they have saved me in the past few years is simply incalculable. Guests can reserve up to three FastPass+ reservations per day. After those first three FastPass+ reservation times have passed, you may make additional reservations in your My Disney Experience Mobile App or at a kiosk in the theme parks.

When you make FastPass+ reservations, they will be in one hour blocks. For instance, if you make a reservation for Avatar Flight of Passage at 9:45 a.m., you would not be able to make a second FastPass+ reservation (at Expedition Everest, perhaps?) until 10:45 a.m., at the earliest. Interestingly, though, you don't have to wait one full hour between experiencing attractions. For example, if you have a 9:45 a.m. FastPass+ reservation for Avatar Flight of Passage, you can enter the queue for that attraction any time between 9:45 a.m and 10:45 a.m. so let's say you enter the queue at 10:30 a.m.. If your next FastPass+ reservation begins at 10:45 a.m., then you can enter that queue as early as 10:45 a.m., if you like. (Of course, you'd have to allow yourself time to experience that first attraction and walk to the second.)

If you are staying as a Guest at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel on your upcoming trip, remember to make your FastPass+ reservations 60 days prior to your arrival so that you can get reservations for the most popular attractions. Definitely try to get Slinky Dog Dash in Hollywood Studios and Seven Dwarfs Mine Train in Magic Kingdom Park.

Let us know if you have any additional questions as you are working on your vacation plans. My friends and I here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel would be delighted to help.

Sending best wishes and pixie dust,
    Jill
