if we get off ship at 0730 at Port Canaveral, will we have time to get to orlando to catch plane at 0950?

    Hey, Tonya!

I wouldn't chance it...here's why.  Even if you carried your luggage off the ship (avoiding claiming it in the port terminal), there's a chance that US Customs won't clear the ship and allow passengers off until after 7:30 a.m. Plus, you still have to get through US Customs yourself, meet and load your transportation and make the 45-minute trek to the Orlando International Airport. Plus, you'll need to squeak through airport security and make it to your gate.  The earliest departure flight which Disney Cruise Line recommends is 12:30 p.m. (EST), and I completely agree.

When we're sailing in and out of Port Canaveral, we usually try to book a late non-stop flight back to Alabama and spend time at the Walt Disney World Resort -- either at a park if we have tickets or at Downtown Disney if we don't. I hope that helps you plan, too.

Have a wonderful day and a magical vacation. Bon voyage!
