When I get off the plane do I need to get my luggage and bring to bus to head to port on for cruise ? From airport to cruise to resort art of animation to airport . What is the logistic for luggage ? Also can't find schedule for cruise activities show time

    Hello Amber -

Thanks for sending in a question. Sounds like you are getting ready to travel and arrive into MCO on embarkation day - how exciting! The easiest and most convenient way for my family and I to travel from MCO to Port Canaveral is to use the Disney Cruise Line ground transfers. There is an extra cost of $70 round trip and luggage handling is included. A few weeks before you leave for your voyage, you will be receiving special luggage tags and you'll need to attach the luggage tags to your check in baggage once you check these in at the airline counter. Once your baggage arrives at the MCO airport, you don't even need to pick it up from baggage claim (though you are welcome to do that if you'd like) -- the Disney Cruise Line bag handlers will see the bright tags on your luggage, and they'll pick it up from baggage claim and deliver them directly to your stateroom onboard. You'll notice that the special luggage tags will have your name, vessel and stateroom number clearly printed on it.

So, once you deplane at MCO, you can conveniently walk straight to the Disney Magical Express Welcome Center on the airport B side and head downstairs to Level 1. Let the agents know that you have ground transfer reservations to Port Canaveral, and they'll direct you to the next motor coach that will be leaving to take you to your Disney Cruise ship.

On disembarkation morning, you will need to pick up your luggage from the port baggage claim and go through US Customs. You'll then exit with your baggage to board the bus that will take you to Disney's Art of Animation Resort. When it's time to come home and travel back to the airport, the Resort to MCO airport Magical Express is a complimentary service... you'll want to either stop by the front desk to make sure you have a confirmed pickup schedule from your resort, or you can also call now and make sure that this is noted on your reservation.

I hope this helps, Amber! Have great trip!
