going in October have tickets to the Mickey Not So Scary, debating if we should do a 4 day pass (not doing park hopper this time) so we can do more at Magic Kingdom during the day and enjoy the MNSS that evening or do a 3 day and do MNSS starting at 5pm.

    Hi Teresa!

I'm so excited to hear that you will be enjoying Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party this year! It's my favorite special event at Magic Kingdom and I'm counting down to my own visit to this year's party. Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is the perfect way to celebrate autumn and you just can't beat trick-or-treating in Magic Kingdom. Be sure to keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog as you continue planning your vacation so you can get all of the latest information about this year's party and other awesome experiences you will be able to enjoy during your trip!

You can enjoy Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party from 7 p.m. until midnight, so I recommend that you set your itinerary based on the ages and vacation styles of everyone you are traveling with. If I am planning a vacation with my family and we are visiting Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, I always make sure that we don't plan on visiting any theme park the morning before the party. My little ones (and my husband) do better if we have a slower morning enjoying the dining and recreation at our Disney Resort hotel or Disney Springs so they can save their energy for our late night! However, if I'm traveling with my girlfriends, then we like to visit the theme parks as much as possible and we can plan a theme park morning before our festive night.

So if you are traveling with little ones or if you think you will need some additional rest before your late night, then I recommend that you purchase a 3-day ticket. Otherwise, purchasing a 4-day ticket is the perfect way to enjoy all of the attractions and entertainment at Magic Kingdom in the morning so you can spend your evening enjoying the party's exclusive offerings!

Be sure to take advantage of the FastPass+ System to make the most of your time in the theme parks. You can begin making your FastPass+ reservations 30 days in advance and since availability is limited, I recommend you make them as soon as possible to get reservations for many of the experiences on your "must-do" list. Let us know if we can help you with additional questions as you continue finalizing your plans. T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
