Hi! We are going in October, Pablo´s birthday is on October 14, he will be 12 years old. We are visiting: the 4 theme parks. Where is better to celebrate with him? is there something special that we can do? last time we ate at magic castle...

Hello, Paola! On Pablo’s big day, I say Happy UNbirthday to you! There’s so many things to do to celebrate your tween’s big day!

My favorite big splurge is the Kitchen Sink Sundae at Beaches and Cream Soda Shop, a hidden gem at Beach Club Resort. You can access this eatery easily by exiting Epcot through the International Gateway and walking there via the pedestrian path or simply bus hopping and getting directions via your My Disney Experience Mobile App. There is also a “Minnie” version of the sink, smaller and sold at Magic Kingdom’s Plaza Ice Cream Parlor. Other places to catch a fun birthday time? Attend Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party or get a grown up haircut complete with pixie dust at Harmony Barber Shop. A fun place I like to eat is Teppan Edo in Epcot. I’ve already reserved my family’s table at the hibachi restaurant, where you can watch food FLY! Though… it might be tastier than Peter Pan’s shadow!

Did you know at each Walt Disney World Resort theme park, as well as Resort Front Desks you can find “Birthday” and “I’m Celebrating” buttons? Write the birthday boy’s name in sharpie and cover with a small piece of tape to prevent smudges. It will get him birthday wishes all visit! And when you get to your hotel room, be sure to press the FRONT DESK button on your room phone. You’ll be connected to a Cast Member to help you set up a special Birthday Greeting from Goofy. Be sure to film Pablo’s reaction… he’ll love it! Have a wonderful celebration, and please let me know if I can help any further. You MAGICAL vacation awaits! ~ Lindsey
