In October we are going to the MNSSHP one of our days. I made a reservation for BOG at 7 pm that evening right when the party starts. Ideally, I would have chosen something earlier. Is my family going to miss anything while we are eating?

Welcome foolish mortal, Erin! I am also attending Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party this year. I'm mostly excited to see the all new stage show, Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular. Hocus Pocus has been my favorite Halloween movie since I was a little girl and I watch it all throughout the year, not just in October.

Since Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party starts at 7 p.m. I suggest arriving a little early to your dining reservation so that you can potentially be seated a little earlier than, or right at 7 p.m. The reason I say this is because you don't want to feel rushed while enjoying dinner, especially when you will be dining at the Beast's Enchanted Castle. In the past, Mickey's "Boo To You" Halloween Parade has run twice nightly. Historically it has been at 8:15 and 10:30 p.m. The current details for this year's party have not yet been released, so stay tuned to the Disney Parks Blog for all of those updates. I actually suggest seeing the later parade anyway because it has always been less crowded in my experience. The castle projection show Celebrate the Magic usually starts around 9:15 followed by the Happy HalloWishes fireworks spectacular at 9:30 p.m. Characters are out for meet and greets throughout the event. If you plan on eating dinner around 7 p.m. you should have plenty of time to enjoy your meal and get to the Castle for Celebrate the Magic and Happy HalloWishes. I think it would fit your schedule best to experience Mickey's "Boo To You" Parade at the later viewing. Add in some attractions, character greetings and Trick-or-Treating and I'd say you are in for a Spooktacular evening!

Please let us know if you need anything else. Have a frightfully good time at Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party!
