I am going from Oct 24th - Oct 29th. I plan on going to the Not So Scary Halloween while we are there, but not to the park during the day so my kids are well rested. Will we be able to ride the rides during that time? Do we need a park pass too?

Hi, Christina! Because the number of Guests is limited, you can ride almost every attraction during the party time frame, especially if you follow my family's lead and skip the Trick-or-treat locations.  You don't need to have a regular theme park ticket to get into the Magic Kingdom during party hours. One of my favorite tips is that even though Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party officially begins at 7:00 P.M., you can enter the Magic Kingdom as early as 4:00 P.M. using just your party admission ticket.

HalloWishes is the holiday-themed fireworks presentation that you can only see on party nights.  The Boo-to-You parade is one of my family's favorites. Watch for the Haunted Mansion Cast Members; they are my favorite part.  For the last few years, there has been a special treat if you find a spot in Liberty Square just prior to the parade.  Mr. Knickerbocker tells "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow."  It ends just as the parade is off to a galloping start.  I don't want to give exact details here, but it is amazing.  Check the website here to watch for the dates to be released.  In years past, there has been an advance purchase discount for most nights, so take advantage of that if you can. The closer you get to Halloween, the more likely they are to sell out.  You're pretty close, so I would go ahead and get those tickets as soon as they become available.  Happy haunting!
