The Oct hours are out - yeah! In your opinion is it best to visit a park on a day they have extra magic hours or is it best to avoid that park that day? Not sure which way to plan. Thanks!

    Hi Rhonda,

Are you staying at a Disney resort?  If you are, I'd take advantage of the Extra Magic Hours in the morning.  I am amazed at how much we can accomplish with little or no waits and then we are able to also to get our first set of fast passes for an additional ride all within the first hour.  However, our strategy is to stay through lunch, but then we "hop" to another park or return to the hotel for a break since the one we started at always seems to be quite crowded.

The evening Extra Magic Hours have benefits, but they do seem more crowded than the morning hours.

If you aren't staying at a Disney resort, I would avoid the park with the Extra Magic Hour.  It is discouraging to begin your day at a park that already has a crowd and lines.

I'm guessing your trip is in October.  I hope you have a chance to enjoy Mickey's Not so Scary Halloween Festival and Epcot's Food and Wine Festival!
