Can you obtain a DAS at guest relations in Downtown disney or do you have to get one at one of the theme parks? Also, if a guest uses a scooter and can't stand in long lines, will they receive a DAS or something else? Thank you for helping!

    Hi Kim,

The new Disability Assistance Service (DAS) is a modification of the former Guest Assistance Card. This service is designed to help guests who need a little extra pixie dust to make their trip easier.

The DAS is available only at Guest Relations at the four main parks and is not available at Downtown Disney. Guests who need this service should go to Guest Relations and ask for this service. It is at the discretion of the cast member to issue the DAS.

For guests who have mobility issues and are on scooters, many of the queues at the Walt Disney World Resorts have been widen so that they can wait on the general queue with the guests they are traveling with and then transfer right at the end. This helps minimize the amount of time they are standing on line.

    Wishing you a magical vacation!
    Beth
