What is there to do for a nursing mother and a one year old child who doesn't walk or talk yet on a 7 day Alaskan disney cruise????

    Hi, Jen!

There is so much to see and do for everyone on a Disney cruise to Alaska.  From adventurous Port Adventures to just sitting on the deck and watching the scenery go by -- you can make your Alaskan voyage as active or as tranquil as you'd like.

When I had little ones, I always brought them with me when I traveled, and it seemed that before they were active was the easiest time for me.  In addition, I think that moms need frequent breaks, and a Disney ship is just the place to pamper a mom. Make reservations for your little one in Flounder's Reef Nursery and book a treatment at Vista Spa & Salon or attend a wine tasting. Take in a movie (alone!) or enjoy brunch or dinner at Palo's with a friend or your sweetheart.

For your sweet baby, you can enjoy a character hunt by meeting and taking photos with the beloved Disney characters throughout the ship or be entertained by the live shows in the evening.  Once you're in port, there are Port Adventures designed for young families including the White Pass Railroad and Street Car Tours in Skagway, Whale Watching in Juneau and the Lumberjack Show in Ketchikan. And since the scenery "comes" to you on an Alaskan cruise, it's easy to curl up with a blanket on deck and gaze at the glaciers, mountains and wildlife as you sail by.

I hope this helps you plan and gets you excited about your upcoming voyage. Have a wonderful day and a magical vacation. Bon voyage!
