Hi we are going in november 2018 to wdw and wondering has Moana arrived in florida yet. Thanks a million

    Aloha, Michelle!

My family and I are enormous Moana fans, so I can certainly understand your eagerness to meet her. One remarkable trait that makes Moana so admirable is her free-spirit. There is no doubt that the sea calls out to her again and again. That's because she's a master wayfinder!

We don't yet know if the stars will guide Moana to a permanently scheduled Character Experience at Walt Disney World Resort. That said, Moana is now back at Magic Kingdom Park. She's currently meeting Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party Guests. She can be found at Adventureland in front of the Jungle Cruise.

Moana was one of the most popular Special Disney Character Appearances last November, at Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. As of right now, it's difficult to predict if Moana will be greeting Guests at that special holiday event this November too. Hopefully she'll be there, and you can "sea" Moana before she sails off on a new adventure.

I suggest purchasing party tickets as soon as possible. These events do sell out very quickly, as they limit the number of Guests at Magic Kingdom Park. Last November, Moana begun meeting party Guests around 5:45 p.m. However, her queue started forming well before that time. Cast Members would only allow Guests wearing the party wristbands to line up for her meet-and-greet.

Michelle, please keep your eyes on the Disney Parks Blog for any official news about a more permanent Moana meet-and-greet location. One never knows when she might return from across the sea with Hei Hei to stay on land for a while.

Sending loads of pixie-dust so that Te Fiti grants your wish to meet Moana this November at the Walt Disney World Resort!
