I have noticed that for my vacation on the first 2 days of March, that there is very little to no entertainment at California adventure. Is this because it is replaced by the food and wine festival or is it because it has not been posted yet.

    Hi there, Diedra!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Your magical trip to the Disneyland Resort will be here before you know it!

As you mentioned, early March is such a fun time to visit as the Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival will be kicking off. This is such a unique event as you can sip and savor your way through the culinary creations of talented chefs who showcase California ingredients. There are family-friendly events, informational seminars, and adorable themed merchandise items for this festival.

As your trip approaches keep an eye on the Daily Events Schedule. From what I am seeing, it does seem like the schedule might not be completely updated yet for your dates. When looking to book a dining reservation, I did see that you are able to book dining packages for World of Color at Disney California Adventure Park during your dates even though this is not listed on the schedule yet. This nighttime spectacular is my absolute favorite. It combines lights, music, pyrotechnics, and water to create a one-of-a-kind, unforgettable performance. FASTPASSES are available for viewing this show if you don't have reserved viewing through a dining package. These can usually be obtained near The Little Mermaid ~ Ariel's Undersea Adventure early in the day.

Some of my other favorite forms of entertainment are the ones that enhance the unique atmospheres of each land in this park. I love watching Five & Dime or the Red Car Trolley News Boys on Buena Vista Street and the Pixarmonic Orchestra on Pixar Pier. They make me feel like I have truly stepped into another world.

I hope this helps, and have a magical day!
