Noticed that the PO's resorts share a shuttle. Little nervous about this. Going end of Oct 2013 and wondering if the bus system is going to be ok since they share :)

    Hi Laura,

Congratulations on your upcoming vacation to Walt Disney World!  Port Orleans is a beautiful Disney Resort, so make sure you take the time to enjoy the surroundings and amenities while staying there.

The complimentary Disney Transportation is very reliable.  You will find that the buses usually run on a circuit, with a bus running to each Park every 15 to 20 minutes.

If you happen to be waiting at a busy time of day, such as right after breakfast, or at the end of the day, you may find that you have to stand while riding on a bus.  Very rarely would you have to wait to catch the next bus, but this does happen at the busy time on occasion, so keep this in mind if you have an Advanced Dining Reservation or other event for which you need to arrive at a specific time.

You will also find complimentary boat transportation available to Downtown Disney.  However, the wait times for this do tend to be a bit longer than the bus rides.

I hope you enjoy your time at Port Orleans Resort!
