    Travis from TN Asked

I've noticed in the past all guests with a party member in Wheelchair received special line access. Do we still need to make Fast Pass reservations for rides they would join us?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Travis!

Since many of the attraction queues are now wheelchair friendly, Guests no longer need a to secure a card for access. Guests are welcome to enter regular and FastPass+ queues to experience attractions. My son is in a wheelchair/push stroller and he loves the interactive queue at Haunted Mansion. After we experience the Stretching Room, a Cast Member will escort us to an accessible loading area so he can enter and exit the ride vehicle safely. There are some attractions, such as Toy Story Mania! or Splash Mountain, where Guests ascend and descend stairs; in those cases, a Cast Member will direct you to an alternate queue. Be sure to check out Services for Guests with Mobility Disabilities for a detailed description of attraction access categories to help you prepare for your visit.

You definitely want to utilize FastPass+. This complimentary service is included with your theme park admission and allows you to reserve up to three experiences per day at one theme park. You can begin booking your experiences 60 days before your arrival if you are staying at a Disney Resort hotel and 30 days for day Guests.

I hope this answers your question, and you find the above links helpful when planning your visit. Please visit us again should you have additional questions.

    Happy Planning!
