I noticed on the Disney site (on a pdf dining sheet for 2012) that the standard dining plan (1 quick,1 snack,1 table service) includes an appetizer, entree, dessert and beverage. Is including an appetizer new for 2012? I thought it wasn't included before?

Danielle, thanks for bringing your question to the WDW Moms Panel!

Appetizers for adults are not included in the quick service and standard Disney Dining Plans for 2011 and 2012 packages.

Only guests ages 3-9 will receive an appetizer from the children's menu at table-service meals. This was the case in 2011 and remains the same for upcoming 2012 vacation packages.

The 2012 Disney Dining Plan brochure highlights this information.

The Deluxe Dining Plan for 2011 and 2012 includes an appetizer for children and adults at lunch and dinner table-service meals. This is also true for the Premium and Platinum dining plans.

    Happy dining!
