I do not understand what counts as a snack. Is it anything other than a sit down meal? I have the standard plan. Thanks.

    Hi Dee!

A snack on the Disney Dining Plan are considered single serving items.  They can be things like popcorn, ice cream, beverages, cupcakes, fruit and more.  Most snacks are available at Quick-Service restaurants, meaning you order at the counter and bring your food to a table, carts and food booths.  You will see a snack icon on the menu to let you know what items are eligible for a snack redemption.  If you click they link for the Disney Dining Plan above, the second page will show you what the icon looks like.

We like to get the most value out of our Disney Dining Plan, so we tend to use our snack credits on the higher priced items.  Anything upwards of $5 is a good value for a snack.  Funnel cakes and ice cream sundaes are an excellent use of a snack.

If you have snack credits left over at the end of your vacation, bagged candy, Mickey Rice Krispie Treats and caramel apples are perfect for traveling home with.

    Have a magical day!
