We are not traveling on one of the airlines that provides the express luggage service. Can we still use the Magical Express and bring our luggage on the bus? How does the system work from the time you make reservations to the time you get to your room?

    Hi Shawn,

I think what you are referring to is when you are flying with one of the participating airlines and you are checking out of your resort when your vacation is over, then you would check in at the Resort Airline Check-In Desk located in the lobby of select Walt Disney World Resort hotels up to 12 hours prior to your flight departure time (but no less than three hours prior) during operating hours.  This is the benefit that you will not be able to enjoy, however you will still be able to use your yellow luggage tags that you will put on your suitcases when you leave from your departing airport.  When you arrive at Orlando International Airport, Walt Disney World will collect your luggage (they know this from the yellow tags!) and you will use the Magical Express Service, while your luggage will still arrive at your resort separately (up to 3 hours after you check into your resort), you do not need to be flying on a participating airline to use this service!

The day before you check out, you will receive a Transportation Notice advising you of your motor coach pick-up time and giving you other general information. Your motor coach pick-up time will be approximately three (3) hours prior to your flight departure time from Orlando International Airport. You are responsible for bringing your luggage to the motor coach pick-up location and you will need to check-in at the airport with the airline you are using and get your boarding passes there.  Have a safe trip and enjoy the Magical Express Service (this is one of the benefits you receive for staying in a Disney World Resort).

    Best wishes,
