Not are 1st time to Disney, but 1st time to Pop Century. We are staying in non preferred rooms. Do you have any advice which non preferred rooms are best. Like closest to main building, and quieter area. Thanks...

    Hi Richard!

You're going to have a great time at Disney's Pop Century Resort.
The larger-than-life theming throughout is well worth spending some time taking a walk around to check out! Many fun photo opportunities for sure!

With a non-preferred room selection, there won't be any guarantee that you'll be able to select a room closest to Classic Hall, however upon check-in you can make your requests and preferences known and receive the best available options at that time.

If you'd like to be both closest to Classic Hall and the bus stops, and also in a quieter section of the resort, I'd highly recommend that you request a room in "The 70's" buildings. The quietest in this area would be those facing onto Hourglass Lake while the closest (and still quieter) would be those rooms facing the inner 'courtyard' of the '70's.

It wouldn't hurt to call Disney Resort Reservations  at (407) 939-7675 and ask a Cast Member to add a note to your reservation, simply asking for "a room in the 70's facing the lake" to better ensure your likelihood of a quiet location.

Wishing you a Magical time on your Walt Disney World vacation Richard!
