We are not staying on property this visit... can we still attend Resort activities? Ie movies on the lawn, kids activities, etc If so, where can we see schedules? We loved Wilderness Lodge, Animal Kingdom Lodge programs and the ones at Epcot Resorts.

    Hi Share!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

The Walt Disney World Resort activities are a really special added touch for Guests. I can't decide if I like the yummy s'mores the most, or the magic of watching a Disney movie under the stars, while I'm at the most magical place on Earth!

While the Cast Members don't normally check for proof of staying at the resort, it is within their right to reserve the spots for Guests staying on property when things are busier than normal. My family once ate dinner at 'Ohana and wandered down to the beach area of Disney's Polynesian Resort Village to participate in making s'mores. We were able to do that even though we weren't staying at that resort.

So, I think you'll be fine to check out some activities, just know that it's possible for Cast Members to only permit resort guests at their discretion.

I hope this helps! Please let me know if you have any other questions.
