I am not staying on Disney property. When I look at the Fastpass calendar, it only shows the next week not the next month. How do I make sure I can secure my passes 30 days in advance? How does it know what my 1st day will be?

Hey there, Jennifer! Thanks for stopping by to see us again at the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Your Walt Disney World vacation is just around the river bend. Let's help you get those plans in place!

Since you're not staying in a Walt Disney World Resort hotel, you should be able to make FastPass+ selections for your favorite attractions up to 30 days in advance. It doesn't matter if you're arriving tomorrow or 30 days from now - all you need is a valid ticket linked to your My Disney Experience account, and you can make your FastPass+ selections within the 30-day advance window.

If you see your tickets in your account after you've logged in, just click on "FastPass+." You should be prompted to select a Theme Park and a date to make your selections. You won't be able to see which attractions have FastPass+ availability until you choose a specific date. From there, just make your selections and you should be good to go.

While Guests staying outside Walt Disney World property can make FastPass+ selections up to 30 days ahead, you can only make them one day at a time. For example, if the first day of your vacation is 30 days from today, you'll have to wait until tomorrow to make selections for your second day, and so on.

Here's some more information about Disney's FastPass+ service from the Walt Disney World website. If you're still experiencing problems making your FastPass+ selections, I suggest calling Guest Relations to see if there's some technical difficulty that may need ironing out.

I hope this helps with your planning, Jennifer. Wishing you a magical Walt Disney World vacation!

I've lived my whole life just an hour's drive from Walt Disney World, so I've been a regular visitor for as long as I can remember. Even after all these years and so many visits, I love that there's still so much to discover! Now that I'm a mom myself, seeing my favorite place through my son's eyes has given me a whole new perspective that I enjoy sharing with other parents of young children. Learn More About Kathy
