I did not know anything about the Shades of Green. My husband is 100℅ Disabled Army Vet. Where can be purchased the discounted tickets and does he need to show his DD214? Can his card be used for Dining discounts at the restaurants?

First, thank you and your husband, from the bottom of my heart, for your service and sacrifices for our country. It's an honor to have you with us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your questions. Let me see how we can help.

Shades of Green Resort is an Armed Forces Recreation Center available for select military members, their families, and limited other government employees. It is stunning! I think you will really enjoy the beauty of the grounds and the convenience of an on-property stay, so close to Magic Kingdom Park. For your reservations, you will need to provide a DD Form 1173 or DD Form 2765 as an Honorably Discharged Veteran with a 100% Disability.

You can also participate in the Military Salute Promotional Ticket program for both 2016 and newly released for 2017. Simply purchase your ticket voucher from an eligible sales center located on a military base in your area or at Shades of Green Resort by presenting your Military Issued ID with the DAVPRM code. Then, once you arrive at Walt Disney World Resort, stop by a convenient Guest Relations desk with your ID once again to activate your theme park admission ticket.

Excited about reserving your access to your most anticipated attractions with FastPass+? No problem! You will find a unique code on the back of each of your Military Promotional Ticket voucher card that you can link to your My Disney Experience account. This will allow you to schedule your FastPass+ Reservations before your arrival.

I hope this is helpful, Barbara! Please let us know if you have any additional questions!

    Wishing you many magical memories,
