    Paula from TN Asked

This is not my first visit to Disney but my husband and I are traveling with two 12 year old girls (July 3-12 2010). I’m having a hard time deciding on a Disney resort hotel that they would like (we have a one bedroom reservation at the Boardwalk Villas).

Hey, Paula! I have a 12-year-old girl, and she loves the Boardwalk Villas because the resort is in the middle of everything.  It also has a really neat pool. The resort is centrally located by boat to Epcot and DHS and is not that far of a walk to DHS.  The Boardwalk is a happening location with lots of restaurants and entertainment easily accessible.

Some of my daughter's other favorite resorts are: the Beach Club Villas (because of the sand-bottom pool and Beaches n' Cream) and The Contemporary (since it's a walk away from the Magic Kingdom and you can see the fireworks from your room). One thing you might want to consider is that in July and with two preteen girls, the pool may play a big factor in your enjoyment of a resort. My helpful hint is to take advantage of late Extra Magic Hours.  Let the girls sleep in the mornings; play in the pool in the afternoons and hit the parks after dark. It makes for a more relaxing experience for everyone!

I hope this has helped you plan! Let me know if you have more questions. In the meantime, have a wonderful day and a magical vacation!
