We do not have the Dining Plan: Our 4 & 7 year old barely eat - most of the time they split a meal when dining out. For table service restaurants (with the exception of Buffet/Events) - is it acceptable for them to split a meal (kids or adult plate)?

    Hi Anissa!

Thank you for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

I also had very picky and light eaters when my boys were little (as teenagers they are MORE than making up for it!). When we traveled to Walt Disney World, we often split a meal for them.  Sometimes, I would split one with one and my husband with the other.  It is completely acceptable.  Most restaurants offer very large portions and we never had any issues getting an extra plate.

If you haven't already made reservations, I highly suggest browsing the Walt Disney World restaurants online and booking. You can make dining reservations up to 180 days in advance.

I hope this helps! Please let me know if you have any other questions.
