Our norm is visiting mid March. Looking at 12/29-1/6. What to expect with crowds that week? Struggling to know if change or keep norm. Pros vs. Cons

    Hello, Amy,

How fun that you are already planning another trip to Walt Disney World and considering visiting during the latter part of December.  Visiting during that time is so wonderful with all of the holiday decorations throughout all of the parks and resorts; they are nearly an attraction in themselves! There are also unique experiences such as the gingerbread creations, Holidays around the World at Epcot, and Jingle Bell, Jingle JAM!. You'll also be able to experience a Disney New Year's Eve.

However, I'd be amiss in not sharing that the crowds can be pretty intense during this time. Having just returned from Walt Disney World, we did experience the crowds first hand. However,  through careful FastPass+ planning and early morning visits, we avoided long waits and had a wonderful trip. We also found leaving the parks for lunch/dinner at the resorts a nice way to enjoy the resort decorations and take a break from the crowds. For my family, we love visiting Walt Disney World during the holidays.

Happy planning!  Please let us know if we can help with any further questions.  Kara
