Can non-resort guests rent boats? We always stay with family when we come, but with the kids older I want to do a few different things such as renting a boat and going bike riding.

Welcome to the Moms Panel Lara!  We're excited to have you hEAR!

Disney World has so many awesome recreational activities to choose from and its great to take a break from the parks to enjoy them.

Non-resort Guests are welcome to rent boats.  When we stay off property we still love to take advantage of recreational activities including renting boats.  During one of our trips last summer, we stayed off property but went over to the Contemporary Resort for a day of fun on the water.  While I went parasailing with one of my boys, my father-in-law rented a Sea Raycer with the other.

You can make boat rental reservations by calling 407-WDW-PLAY.  Unless we've been visiting during a peak season, we haven't had a problem walking up and being able to rent.  We may have had to wait a little bit but we always find something to keep us occupied until then.

Please feel free to visit with any other questions.  It is our pleasure to assist you.

Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison
