    Dawn from BC Asked

We have no coice but to go during spring break Mar. 13 to the 23 are there any good tips on making the most of the busiest time of the year to go. Thanks

Hi, Dawn!  I know our family tries to avoid the most busy times at Walt Disney World, but sometimes, especially with school schedules, it's not always possible.  We've picked up a few tricks over the years that helps make the crowded times not so bad.

We try to get to the park as early as possible.  If you are staying on Walt Disney World property, go to the early morning extra magic hours, but if you park hoppers, plan to leave about mid-morning when the crowds come rolling in.  You'll be surprised at how much you can do with the time you get in the extra magic hours!

Fast pass whatever you can.  We usually send Dad to get Fast Passes for something while we wait in line for something else.  Another thing we do is to get new Fast Passes as soon as we are eligible, so there's always something to look forward to!

Definitely use the age old tip of eating at off peak times.  Hit lunch early - around 11 or 11:30; and if you can do a later evening dinner, you'll find a better selection of times available at table service restaurants.

The parades attract a crowd, so you may find lines for rides and attractions a little bit shorter during the parades and fireworks.  This may also be a good time to grab a bite to eat.

I hope the crowds don't prevent you from having an absolutely wonderful vacation!
