Hi! We are going on a 3 night Christmas cruise. We have done a 4 night cruise before, but were wondering about how the schedule of holiday parties, character greetings, and other activities might be different. Is there a way to view a cruise Navigator?

    Ahoy, Allison!

How exciting that you will be embarking on a Very MerryTime Cruise! Cruising while the ship is decorated for the holidays is one of my favorite cruise memories. I absolutely loved the huge gingerbread house in the atrium, as well as the giant Christmas tree next to it!

For New Year's 2014, our family sailed on the Disney Magic for three nights. There were activities abound. New Year's Eve was our optional dress-up night plus it was also Pirate Night. Guests could choose how they wanted to participate. We chose to dress up and rang in 2014 with a shower of confetti in the gorgeous atrium of the Magic. It was so much fun.

I would imagine a Christmas cruise will be similar. Your family can look forward to some special holiday activities, as well as many of the "typical" cruise activities. I'm sure the man in the red suit will make multiple appearances, as well as Disney characters dressed in their holiday garb.

I hope your family has a wonderful time sailing over and celebrating Christmas on the high seas!

    Happy Cruising, Tracy V.
