Hello my niece (15) and I (26) are going to WDW on 5/27-6/1 for the first time. We both have Disneyland annual passes and go all the time, we would like to know if there are rides that are the same as here that we can skip. 2 days at mk, 2ep,1ak & 1hs.

    Hi, Karen!

As Disney Parks veterans, I'm sure you and your niece are excited for your first trip to the Walt Disney World Resort! There’s so much to experience and explore there, especially with the opening of New Fantasyland in Magic Kingdom Park.

Here is a list of some of the popular attractions the Disneyland Resort and the Walt Disney World Resort have in common. However, keep in mind that although they may be similar, they are not always identical and may have different elements, designs, queues, ride vehicles and lengths.

    -Astro Orbiter
-Autopia (Tomorrowland Speedway at Walt Disney World)
    -Big Thunder Mountain Railroad
    -Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters
    -Dumbo the Flying Elephant
    -it’s a small world
    -Jungle Cruise
    -Mad Tea Party
    -Peter Pan’s Flight
    -Pirates of the Caribbean
-Soarin’ over California (Soarin’ at Walt Disney World)
    -Space Mountain
    -Star Tours: The Adventures Continue
-The Little Mermaid~Ariel's Undersea Adventure (Under the Sea~Journey of the Little Mermaid at Walt Disney World)
-The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh
    -Toy Story Mania

There are a few attractions the two resorts share that I encourage you to still experience at Walt Disney World because of their unique differences: Splash Mountain, The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror and Haunted Mansion.

I hope this helps, Karen, and that you have a wonderfully pixie-dusted visit to “The Most Magical Place on Earth!” Please feel free to write back with more questions as you continue planning your vacation.

    Wishing you magic,
