We have our next Disney Vacation planned for Spring Break 2018. What attractions are new since our last trip back in Spring of 2016? What new attractions should be consider getting a Fast Pass for? Our boys will be 8 and 10 years of age.

    Hi Danielle,

While much will be familiar to you from your last visit to Walt Disney World, many things have been improved, updated, and added. Walt Disney World is continually innovating!

Disney Springs has undergone a major re-imagining in the recent years. This shopping, merchandise, and entertainment district is revitalized and teeming with new energy.

Another huge addition since your last visit is Pandora - The World of Avatar at Disney's Animal Kingdom. I have been lucky enough to experience this new land and it is truly breathtaking. Be sure to plan some time to wander through this land. I would also absolutely suggest making Disney FastPass+ selections for the attractions in this land - both Avatar Flight of Passage and Na'vi River Journey. If you are only able to select one, I suggest Avatar Flight of Passage. This unique attraction lets you ride on the back of a banshee!

For other attractions, you may have experienced Soarin' at Epcot on your last trip. Now, the attraction has been updated, and instead of soaring over only California, you can go Soarin' Around the World! This is another popular attraction for which I suggest using Disney FastPass+ service.

There are many new nighttime shows at Walt Disney World that have recently debuted, including Happily Ever After at Magic Kingdom, which combines castle projection technology and fireworks, as well as the beautiful and serene Rivers of Light at Disney's Animal Kingdom, which makes the park come alive at night.

Of course there is more than I can fit into one answer, Danielle! Please let us know if you have any further questions.
